Removals

Are you the Author of a post or comment on the Deadbeat Registry? Did you create the profile yourself? If so, you may send us an email to request removal of your post.

Please note that we must verify that you are indeed the original author. In order to help us with the verification process, please send the request from the email that was used to create the user account and also the username used to create the profile.

Please be aware that we receive many requests for removals each week (some from the real author and some not); therefore, it may take in excess of 30 days to review your information and proceed with removal.

We remove the full profile from our site. This does include pictures and comments; however, a record of the post will remain on our server for legal reasons. Once removed, no one will see the post, and search engines will not find it.

Remove My Name from the Deadbeat Registry (I am not the author):
If you are a victim of a profile, comment, or post that was made about you on our site that you don’t agree with, you may contact an independent 3rd party removal service company to assist. This does not guarantee post removal. Only after a successful challenge will the post be removed and deemed maliciously-motivated and unsubstantiated. For more information you may visit any of the sites below to challenge a post:

We are not responsible for the content posted by the users of this website, and the users/posters/authors of this website are held solely responsible for the contents. (please also see Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act for more information on the use of this site).

The Deadbeat Registry DOES NOT intend to harm in any way. The goal of this website is to protect our visitors from future deadbeat encounters (people that could be otherwise harmful to others) and allow those inconvenienced in the past to vent and share their story.

The Deadbeat Registry is acting as a common carrier in providing an interactive computer service and as such, provides a forum for posting comments made by 3rd parties, but does not endorse, approve, or otherwise evaluate any content posted.
